1L Resource Guide

Starting law school can be overwhelming, especially when you are not sure of what to expect! To aid incoming students in their adjustment to UVA Law and the Charlottesville area, the 2022-2023 SBA Executive Board developed this 1L Resource Guide. The Resource Guide covers topics from student organization involvement, to common career goals, to mental health resources on Grounds. 

1L Activities Pamphlet

The 2021-2022 First-Year Council also developed the 1L Activities Pamphlet with incoming students in mind. This resource explains favorite Law School traditions and when students can expect them to occur, so that incoming students are better able to grasp what their first and second semesters will look like outside of the classroom.
