take a professor to lunch
Take A Professor to Lunch is a longstanding SBA Program designed to encourage students to get to know their professors outside the classroom setting. At least four but sometimes many more students can take a professor to lunch to a local restaurant and get the Professor’s meal reimbursed up to $10 by the Student Bar Association. Students just turn in the receipt and they’ll receive a reimbursement by check within a few days.
REQUIREMENTS:
If you and at least three other students take a professor out to lunch, SBA will compensate the students and professor for their meals (up to $10.00/meal).
Fill out the form (button below) with your information and receipt for reimbursement.
REIMBURSEMENT:
Your check will be available for pickup in the mailbox outside of the SBA Office (SL196e) once you have submitted your reimbursement. Reimbursements will be distributed by check. Venmo is not an option for reimbursements at this time.
